About Us
Uttarakhand Board of HighSchool & Intermediate Education is a self autonomous, Independent Board run & managed by The Council of Basic and Technical Education, which was previously established vide Act XXI of 1860 for vocational and educational society for the poor and Disadvantaged group as as street children, working children, rural women and physically challenged. Now it is incorporated under Govt. of Uttarakhand, Its registration no. is 2322. IT IS AN ISO 9001:2008 CERTIFIED ORGANISATION. It is collaborated with Rashtriya Saksharta Abhiyaan (India) and also Recognized by IAO (International Accreditation Organization (U.S.A.), REGISTERED WITH PLANNING COMMISSION, GOVT. OF INDIA, REGD. NO. UK/2005/0062591. It is REGD. UNDER A ACT FROM MHRD GOVT. OF INDIA, REGD. NO. being 514/2013/CO/A. The Board is established for development of education under the guidelines of national education policy 1986 and programme of action 1992 Govt. of India respectively.
